Injection Moulds (Horizontal / Vertical)

Vertical injection molding machines offer easier accessibility to the mold from the top. This allows for quicker mold changes, reducing downtime and increasing production efficiency. Horizontal machines, on the other hand, typically have molds that open and close in the vertical plane.

Horizontal injection molding is the configuration and movement of the mold. In the vertical injection molding process, the mold clamping action occurs vertically, in an up and down motion. The clamping mechanism and injecting mechanism are located along the same vertical plane.
